Running Man Dear Internet,

Today I took the first step down a long, arduous path which will hopefully end with me competing in the 2007 New York City Marathon. By enrolling in a 2 year membership in NYC Road Runners Club, I have secured myself a position in next year's race.

The Courser Of course I could also "win" a lottery place in this year's marathon but that's another story.

I am not a marathon runner. I am not even a recreational runner. I am just a guy with a dream and a few good friends who have pledged to help me achieve it.
