I've been been sick several times over the past few weeks so a  friend was asking me how I was feeling after yestererday's race in the cold rain.  I told her that surprisingly, I didn't get sick (again).

Trust me, it's no fun to be suddenly confronted with your own mortality after a lifetime of invincibilty.  I've decided that all that "mere mortal" bullshit might be good for the rest of humanity, me:  I'd rather be invincible with a cool superhero name and live a life of fighting crime.
